Who We Are

Sack and Sugar Designs was founded in 2013 by Nathan Tong, a highly skilled carpenter from the beautiful village of Pembridge, Herefordshire. Specialising in designing and building unique hand crafted kitchens, Sack and Sugar offers individual advice and expertise on a wide variety of kitchen styles and finishes, with focus always being firmly centred on the client’s specifications and needs.

Nathan studied at Art College where his vision of becoming a furniture maker first began to evolve. He joined a world recognised oak framing business when he was 19 and this is where he learnt his craft and where his natural talent as a carpenter emerged.

Fast forward to present day and Nathan has developed his own style which centres on making the highest standard of quality kitchens, using the best available materials whilst always keeping the client’s vision and needs at the forefront.

Whether it’s modern, shaker, traditional or classic, Sack and Sugar Designs are able to offer you a kitchen that is planned, designed, built and fitted using the finest materials, the most detailed craftsmanship and the utmost care.

Meticulous attention to detail ensures that the client receives the highest level of service coupled with Nathan’s mastery of design and carpentry. He works very closely with each individual customer and together they perfect the design, bringing the vision to life using 3D elevations.

Whilst kitchens are the primary focus of the business, Nathan also designs and makes individual handcrafted furniture, once again ensuring the customer’s needs are exactly met.
